Coast Tapestry 2000: Rebecca Stevens juried submissions from Alaska to
California,
choosing 37 tapestries created by twenty five artists. The show opened
at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center on 10/04/00 and
closed 1/08/01. |

Light: This exhibition of TAPS members’ works ran from 1/6/98 through
2/26/98 at the Mercer Island Gallery, Mercer Island, WA. |
 | Upon Reflection:
Lloyd Hermann and Vicki Halper juried this show of Washington State tapestry
artists. The show consisted of 25 works by 18 artists and ran from 10/5/97
through 12/30/97 at the Washington State Convention and Trade Center. A
public slide talk was offered. |

September of 1993. |
 | Northwest Tapestry
1993: This show of artists from TAPS, Tapestry Forum and BC Stars,
juried by Larry Metcalf and Marianne Forsblad, opened at the Nordic Heritage
Museum in Seattle, WA (2/2/93 through 4/13/93). It traveled to the
Contemporary Crafts Gallery in Portland, OR (6/27/93 through 7/31/93) and
also to the Richmond Gallery in Richmond, British Columbia (9/6/93 through
9/27, 93). The opening venue showed 45 tapestries by 25 artists out of which
21 tapestries by 18 artists traveled to the subsequent venues. |
 | Tapestry Works:
An exhibition, juried by Mia McEldowney, of TAPS members, with 18 tapestries
from 10 artists, hung at the Frye Museum from 8/20/91 through 9/15/9.
A tour
and slide talk was offered to the Fuller Guild of the Seattle Art Museum. |

Group
Projects
 | The Light Project
is a collaborative venture which involved each participant weaving an 18”
x 18” tapestry reflecting the theme of light. Each piece is mounted
independently and the entire suite is intended to be donated to a
health care facility. |

The Overcoat
is
a collaboration which involved each participant weaving a
piece reflecting the theme of inner meanings. The weavings were
mounted on the lining of a woman’s red winter coat. |
